Sunflower
The common sunflower has value from both an economic and decorative standpoint. The seeds contain oil and are used as food, the flowers provide a yellow color, and the leaves are used as fodder. The sweet yellow oil produced by pressing the seeds is regarded as being equivalent to olive or almond oil for use in cooking. Stock and poultry are fed on sunflower oil cake. Additionally, the oil is utilized as a lubricant, in soaps and paints. The seeds are frequently found in bird seed blends and can be consumed dried, roasted, or mashed into nut butter.

Soya Bean
Our soy bean is an upright, branching plant that can grow as tall as 2 meters (6.5 feet). Flowers that self-fertilize are either white or a tinge of purple. Although the majority of commercial types have brown or tan seeds with one to four seeds per pod, seeds can also be yellow, green, brown, black, or bicolored.

Ginger
Our ginger is often used fresh, dried or ground and used to flavor breads, sauces, curries, confections, pickles, ginger ale and food seasoning. The spice has a mildly sharp flavor. Green ginger is a fresh rhizome that is used in cooking. Rhizomes that have been peeled can be preserved by simmering in syrup. Slices of ginger are frequently consumed in Japan and other cultures to cleanse the palette in between courses or dishes. In medicine, ginger is used to relieve colic and flatulence.
